Welcome to Keswick Lecture Society! Keswick Lecture Society was founded in 1869. Meetings are held in the Queens hall at Keswick School from 7:30pm on alternative Tuesday evenings starting at 7:30pm , commencing on October 5th 2010 to March 15th 2011. You are recommended to be in your seats by 7:25pm. Typically in a season we cover a wide selection of topics. These might include travel, natural history, mountaineering, other expeditions, art and culture....etc. The annual membership fee is £20 which entitles you to attend all 10 lectures. Membership Cards may be obtained from Keswick Library, from the Hon. Treasurer (Marjorie Dymock, 20 Homethwaite House, Keswick CA12 4DG), or at the door on the first meeting night. Non-members may attend lectures by paying £4 at the door, on the night. Talks are usually held at Keswick School's Queen's hall which can be found off Cockermouth Road on the western side of Keswick (See also our Location Page).
