Welcome to Keswick Lecture Society!
Keswick Lecture Society was founded in 1869. Meetings are held in the Queens Hall at Keswick School on
alternative Tuesday evenings starting at 7:30pm , commencing on October 8th 2013 to March 11th 2014. You are
recommended to be in your seats by 7:25pm.
Typically in a season we cover a wide selection of topics. These might include travel, natural history, mountaineering,
other expeditions, art and culture....etc.
The annual membership fee is £25 which entitles you to attend all 10 lectures. Membership Cards may be obtained
from Keswick Library, from the Hon. Treasurer (Marjorie Dymock, 20 Homethwaite House, Keswick CA12 4DG), or
at the door on the first meeting night. Non-members may attend lectures by paying £5 at the door, on the night.
